In support of The Bumblebee Conservation Trust, keen cyclist and bumblebee lover, Andy Graham, is taking part in a 45 mile charity cycle ride.

Andy Bike ride

The ride takes place on 2 September and Andy will be joined by as many colleagues as he can persuade join him!

The circular loop starts in Edgehill in the Cotswolds and takes in the Hook Norton brewery and the Diddly Squat Farm Shop.

Dedicated to increasing the number of bees and their distribution across the UK, The Bumblebee Conservation Trust was established because of serious concerns over the plight of the bumblebee in recent years.

Andy Graham, Director, Emberson Group, comments: “Over the past century, our bumblebee populations have dramatically crashed and declined, with two species now nationally extinct. It is a travesty to see these much-loved insects in such poor shape. Aside from their ingenious honey making abilities, they are crucial pollinators for our crops and wildflowers all over the UK. I am doing my bit to help the growing number of supporters who feel strongly about making life better for the bees, our ecology and local communities as a result.”
